RMH Kids Learn About Fire Safety

Children staying at the Ronald McDonald House learned that firefighters are their friends and it’s never too early to learn about fire prevention. Members of the 55th Civil Engineering Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base visited the Ronald House recently and shared its fire prevention program with its residents. They explained how a firefighter’s equipment works and talked about why it’s important to stop, drop and roll if you ever catch fire. The program included a visit by Sparky, the Fire Dog and a demonstration how a fire truck works.
