Dinner is Served

There’s nothing better than a warm meal at the end of a long day. Businesses, church groups and civic organizations provide evening meals for our families most days of the week. Here is how the program works:

• Contact us or call us at (402) 346-9377 to select an evening to serve dinner.
• Recruit 5 to 10 volunteers to help.
• Select your menu. RMHC staff can always give you suggestions.
• Purchase the food. You can prepare it off-site and bring it to the Ronald House, or use our kitchen.
• Arrive at about 5:30 p.m. to prepare for dinner at 6:30 p.m.
• Dinner is served buffet-style. We provide the soda and cups.
• Join our families for dinner.
• Clean up and store the leftovers in the House refrigerator.
• Know that you have done a nice thing for families that are having a difficult time.
